Welcome to the Undergraduate Philosophy Forum

The Undergraduate Philosophy Forum fosters a lively and active community of Berkeley undergraduates brought together by our interest in philosophy, while encouraging a campus-wide interest in philosophical inquiry. At our weekly meetings students present their philosophical work and discuss these issues in an open, responsive environment.

To promote academic excellence we organize workshops on editing philosophical writing, as well as applying to graduate school and law school. We also invite professors and graduate students from different disciplines to give lecturers throughout the semester, exposing students to current issues in philosophy and affiliated fields. These activities exemplify the basic mission of the Forum: encourage community, philosophical enquiry, and academic excellence.Spring 2009's meeting time and location will be posted as soon it is available.
